Imperfect Gallery was featured in the Germantown Info Hub for the 12th year of their highly-anticipated exhibit, ‘The Freedom Show,’ a five-week display featuring various works from local and international artists.


The Thread was featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer for a phone booth to speak to the dead.

If you could talk to a lost loved one over the phone, what would you tell them?

The Thread’s new art and therapeutic installation in Germantown’s Vernon Park, visitors have the opportunity to answer that question. The Thread’s key feature is a small booth with a detached rotary phone, meant to simulate speaking with the dead or anyone else its caller may be mourning.


‘Shift the paradigm’: An exhibition at Philly’s Imperfect Gallery celebrates immigrant and international voices was featured on WHYY

The exhibition, which features artists with Latin American and Palestinian backgrounds, is on display through August 3, 2024.


David Costa of Case De Duende recognized for being an outstanding Artist + Creative by Philadelphia Gay News (PGN) in the 48 Most Influential LGBTQ+ Leaders list for 2024. This list recognizes the most impactful LGBTQ+ individuals in the Philadelphia region and honors trailblazers, emerging leaders, advocates, artists and innovators across various fields who have made significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ community.


The Young Artist Program was featured in Philadelphia’s Gay News upon receiving funding from the Philadelphia’s Treasures grant program.

“The Young Artist Program (YAP) is a free art and social justice program for BIPOC LGBTQ+ people in Philadelphia, ages 14-25. 

The Philadelphia’s Treasures grant will allow the organization to “enhance its operational capacity” in ways that would be more difficult to achieve without it. 

‘This will enable the dedicated team to devote more time and energy to the mission of YAP, expanding its reach through additional collaborations and developing more comprehensive programming and events,’ said a spokesperson from YAP. “
