Wilfredo is a self-producing theatre/visual artist, cultural worker, educator and consultant with over 15 years of experience in the arts and culture sector. He is a lover of learning and believes in centering empathy, equity and social justice in his daily interactions. Wilfredo received his M.A. in Producing & Directing Theatre from NYU and has worked for some of New York's most dynamic arts organizations, including serving as the founding Program Manager for the Boro-Linc initiative at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, as the first Arts & Culture Leader at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center and as Program Manager at The Field. He currently directs the LGBTQ New Americans Oral History Project, which earned him a NYC Council honorary citation in 2016, and was appointed to the Education Committee of the national Oral History Association. He is very proud and excited to join the CultureWorks community and is committed to supporting artists in realizing their unique visions and potential.
