Wilfredo is a self-producing theatre/visual artist, cultural worker, educator and consultant with over 15 years of experience in the arts and culture sector. He is a lover of learning and believes in centering empathy, equity and social justice in his daily interactions. Wilfredo received his M.A. in Producing & Directing Theatre from NYU and has worked for some of New York's most dynamic arts organizations, including serving as the founding Program Manager for the Boro-Linc initiative at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, as the first Arts & Culture Leader at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center and as Program Manager at The Field. He currently directs the LGBTQ New Americans Oral History Project, which earned him a NYC Council honorary citation in 2016, and was appointed to the Education Committee of the national Oral History Association. He is very proud to also be a member of the inaugural cohort of the City of Philadelphia's LGBTQ Community Leadership Pipeline Program through the Mayor's Office of LGBT Affairs. He is excited to be a part of the CultureWorks community and is committed to supporting artists in realizing their unique visions and potential.
