The Clap Back - Benefiting Small But Mighty Arts
About The Clap Back:
The Clap Back is a benefit concert and art exhibit held annually in Philadelphia that seeks to raise funding for and awareness about organizations that support Women/ LGBTQIA rights and artistic expression.
The Clap Back is an inclusive platform for showcasing local visual and performing artists whose work challenges the status quo, with a special focus on intersectional feminism and queer politics.
Small But Mighty Arts:
We provide artists with the "spark" they need to continue or complete projects, maintain creative momentum, and put more work into the community through connecting & informing artists about career-enhancing opportunities, offering access to funding through micro-grants, and providing a range of advisory services. SBMA works to deepen engagement between artists and the community through the facilitation of partnership programs, resource connections, information-sharing, funding, and advising.
